Well, it looks like Biden is finally going to do it: He’s going to take the (illegal) path of forcing his agenda through executive orders (just like Obama did) instead of passing laws, which is the legal way to do these things. And this time, Biden is looking to take your guns.
Now, before you say, “Hey, you’re being kind of alarmist, aren’t you?” read the rest of this article. I’m not speculating. I’m not exaggerating. Biden has been saying it since the 2020 campaign, and it looks like he’s finally going to do it.
Biden is going to sign an executive order to expand background checks and red flag laws nationwide. Michele Blood writes,
President Joe Biden will sign an executive order Tuesday meant to expand background checks during a visit to the site of a mass shooting in a Los Angeles suburb earlier this year, NBC and other outlets reported.
The White House said this executive order will bring the United States “as close to universal background checks as possible” without additional legislation, Fox News reported.
“This news would mean fewer guns will be sold without background checks, and therefore fewer guns will end up in the hands of felons and domestic abusers,” a senior Biden administration official reportedly told reporters on a Monday briefing call ahead of the announcement.
Now, if you’re one of those deluded souls who think that red flag laws will keep the world safer, then you need to read this story about a guy whose guns were taken during a red flag law filing and who still was able to get a shotgun and commit a murder.

And, on top of that, background checks are both invasive violations of the Fourth Amendment (illegal search without any probably cause) and, simply, excuses that governments use to steal the rights of people who don’t agree with the government’s preferred ways of thinking.
Joe Biden is, quite literally, set to violate multiple parts of the Constitution, including separation of powers, with this executive order and is pushing to make America less safe.
The American people deserve better.
